River Valley Eye Professionals has been serving Northfield and the surrounding communities since the 1920s.

We have a proud history of providing comprehensive eye and vision care. Our 6,000 square-foot facility provides for state-of-the-art eye care — from routine procedures to urgent care. Whether you get something in your eye, have pink eye, glaucoma, or just need new glasses or contact lenses, we are here to solve your vision and eye health problems.

Our staff includes optometrists and ophthalmologists as well as certified opticians for a complete eye and optical services.

Our Commitment to Learning

Our clinic is also a teaching facility. Dr. O’Neill is an adjunct faculty member and we serve as an extern site for fourth-year senior optometry externs. Working with our doctors, the senior externs provide a very thorough examination, analysis, and treatment options. All aspects of the exam are checked and confirmed by your doctor to ensure you have the very best care and treatment. Our senior externs come to us with the very latest in technique, theories, and treatment options – in other words, they keep us on our toes to make sure we are always on the cutting edge for what’s new in eye care.
