Comprehensive Eye and Vision Examinations

These are complete medical eye exams analyzing:

• The health of the various tissues of the eye such as the lids, lashes, conjunctiva, cornea, lens, vitreous, and retina.

• The function of the various parts of the eye. Do you blink properly? Are the muscles of the eye working to move the eyes as a team and in all directions? Can you focus properly at a distance and near? Are you color blind? How is your depth perception?

• The presence of any abnormalities, diseases, infections, or inflammations, such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, or pink eye.

These examinations will also determine if you are nearsighted, farsighted or have astigmatism, or need bifocals.
